Mortgage Loan Processor Set-Up


Academy Mortgage Corporation is seeking a Processor Set Up to join a dynamic team in Walla Walla, WA.

Role

The Processor is responsible for accepting loan files from loan officers and preparing the files for delivery to a processor, reviewing loan files for completeness against the quality checklist, stacking loan files and tracks loans submitted to pipelines from loan officers, and accurately preparing files for processing within established branch timelines.
The Loan Officer Assistant will support a high producing, Senior Loan Officer in all aspects of the mortgage loan origination process. Although this position will be primarily worked from our Walla Walla office, periodic travel will be required.


Major Duties and Responsibilities

Reviews loan file for completeness against Quality Checklist
Stacks loan files and tracks loans submitted to pipelines for loan officers
Orders title and wiring instructions
Pulls Credit Alert Voice Response System, (CAIVRS) Limited Denial of Participation, (LDP) and General Services Administration (GSA) reports
Stacks loan files and give to Processing Department
Completes Patriot Act forms, upon receipt of customer identification certification
Updates loan origination system to show a loan file has been sent to Processing
Obtains sales manager sign-off for any RUSH loans
Orders flood certifications
Organize and track and enter loan applications as directed by the assigned loan officer
Monitor the status of each file and ensure accurate and efficient processing
Obtain borrower applications and pre-qualify applicant - present and review with senior loan officer
Assist with pricing rate locks

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
Be well informed of industry related information such as new types of loans and services to meet your customers' needs and advising customers
Maintain continuing education and licensing requirements for your state
Timely and accurate completion of required paperwork
All other duties as required by your supervisor such as marketing and social media


Requirements

1-3years of similar or related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic word processing, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and computer skills are required

Requires effective communication with customers and/or other employees using common telecommunications equipment and computer equipment
Must be able to read, examine, and organize documents
May require the ability to sit, stand, and walk around for extended periods of time
May also require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Compensation

Hourly Wage, DOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
