Medical Technologist (ASCP Certification Required)
2 openings, variable shift. This does include days, nights and weekend/holiday rotation. All techs rotate through all shifts and weekends. Staff know 6 weeks in advance of the upcoming 6 week schedule.
In this position you will:
Work fulltime, 40 hours/week, variable shift Plan, perform and evaluate routine and complex laboratory tests. Operate instruments and perform maintenance function checks and trouble-shoot.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical or biologic science Current Medical Technologist certification through ASCP or equivalent Formal laboratory technology training Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in a medical laboratory State of Washington Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy certificate within the first 30 days of employment Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers - AHA accredited within the first 30 days of employment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
